Description
- This self drilling roofing fastener is designed specifically for fixing composite panel sheeting to light purlins (1.2mm – 3mm) or timber
- It can also be used for fastening steel wall channeling through insulation to studs
- The unthreaded piece ensures panel surfaces are not deformed
- The fixing incorporates both a washer, to compress to the outer skin to ensure a weathertight seal, and a high thread which gives positive support to the outer sheet
- Panels can be fixed through the valley or crown of the profile
- The fasteners must not be over tightened to achieve the correct seal
